Prabhsimran Singh’s Flamboyant 91 Makes All The Difference
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, PBKS scored a strong total of 236/5, with Prabhsimran Singh scoring a blistering 91 off 48 balls. His aggressive innings helped lay the platform for PBKS’s good score. Captain Shreyas Iyer made a handy 45, and Nehal Wadhera and Marcus Stoinis helped add runs at the death.
Arshdeep Singh’s Early Breakthroughs Undermines LSG
Chasing 237, LSG had lost early wickets, whilst PBKS had also been intact, as Arshdeep Singh bowled fiery first spells and took three wickets, including the key wickets of Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran. LSG was found to be struggling at 73/5 and had no outside batsmen to continue.
Badoni & Samad’s Attempt At Resistance Comes Up Short
Ayush Badoni (74 off 40) and Abdul Samad (45 off 24) showed fight and gave PBKS some problems, building a partnership of 81 runs for the sixth wicket, but they still didn’t get close, and LSG finished on 199/7.

PBKS’s 16th Over: Marcus Stoinis hit some late boundaries which added some runs that took PBKS over 230 totals.
LSG’s 3rd Over: It was Arshdeep Singh’s double strike early in the chase, removing key batsmen which turned the game in PBKS’s favor early.
In Conclusion
Overall, it was an excellent game for PBKS, and, Prabhsimran was great with the bat, while Arshdeep was great with the ball. Earlier in the season, PBKS look strong and, going into the playoffs, they will need to be consistent. For LSG, it is time to look inwards and make some strategic adjustments to save their campaign.
