England Reaches Their 50th In Just Seven Overs

At the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today, England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bat first against India in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match series. India made two changes in their playing 11, bringing in senior batter Virat Kohli in place of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who debuted in the first ODI.

Kuldeep Yadav was replaced in India’s playing eleven by the mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy.

In addition, England changed their playing eleven for the first ODI by three.

Both captains made the following statements during the toss:

India’s captain, Rohit Sharma:

The first game was a strong performance. That is what I cherished. Even though it had been a while since they were on the field, the energy was excellent. Despite losing two wickets, it was an amazing sight to witness. Shreyas takes great pride in that goal and mindset, not to mention the contributions of Axar and Shubman.

I anticipate that you might play a little more slowly. Two changes: Virat takes Jaiswal’s place. Varun debuts because Kuldeep is rested.

Jos Buttler, captain of England:

We will bat first today. We have been working hard, playing better for longer, and we are hoping for a successful day today. The soil appears somewhat dry and black. It looks like a nice wicket. Mark Wood, Gus Atkinson, and Jamie Overton are the three new players added to the starting lineup.

For the third consecutive time, Salt-Duckett has partnered with 50 ODIs

India vs England LIVE SCORE, 2nd ODI: India’s pacers are finding it difficult to hold their lines as this duo quickly reaches the 50-run partnership. There are too many pads and too many wide. Without a doubt, spinners will arrive soon, and a break is required.

India vs. England, second ODI: Harshit is met with two boundaries

India vs England Live Score, 2nd ODI: Ben Duckett gets four off a looser from Harshit, then gets a lucky edge off the back of his bat and finishes with four more at the boundary directly behind him.

Given that Phil Salt’s run out in the previous game gave them a wicket, India will want to be more organized in the powerplay.
